Chapter Background

The University of Northwestern Ohio, AMA Chapter originated in the Fall of 2013. We are an upcoming chapter, which strives to be a competitive force among the top chapters in the world. Over the past couple years, the chapter has experienced a steady increase in annual membership, top #1 small chapter in the world award in 2017, placed in 41st in 2019, and 33rd in 2020 in overall participation within and outside the chapter, as well as campus-wide awareness of AMA, and growth and connections within our community. Members also presented in the leadership activity at the 2019 & 2020 Annual AMA Collegiate Conference.  

Chapter Diversity Equity Inclusion Statement

The UNOH American Marketing Association Chapter is dedicated to execute the values of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion within all interactions and activities. We strive to provide an equal experience to all of our members and officers regardless of individual differences (i.e. Race, Gender, Ethnicity, and/or Sexual Orientation). We acknowledge that there are individual differences in background and members and officers have had individual experiences. We seek to be inclusive of all perspectives and believe that creating a culture in which everyone feels empowered to contribute to the success of the chapter.

Chapter Mission Statement 

The University of Northwestern Ohio AMA provides a professional business organization for all majors on the UNOH campus. The mission of our organization is to provide professional growth for our members through chapter activities, competitions, corporate visits, speakers, community events, and interaction with other chapters in the region and country. Our members will be given the opportunity to grow and network as they receive the tools for success after graduation.  

Chapter Objective

The University of Northwestern Ohio American Marketing Association (UNOH AMA) is committed to serving the minds of the sophisticated individuals who surround us within our chapter, within the university community as well as in the regional business community with marketing knowledge that these individuals and the community can utilize to grow their marketing presence with their stakeholders to achieve their business goals.
